AWW is happy to announce the first major online event it is running. The world Fayre to be run from October 1st until October 30th 2008.
The planned event is a buying and selling jamboree on the lines of state or national trade fayres, but run solely for the internet buying community. AWW hope to attract sellers and buyers from around the globe to participate in the event.

However AWW say it is not just for international buying and selling. Sellers will have the option of trading locally, nationally or globally and buyers will be able to choose who they buy from and where.

AWW say the event will be well publicised by press releases, internet advertising, poster and brochure placement and distribution in addition to the Auctions Worldwide community advertising venture. Overall we would hope this event will be advertised to over 100 million people worldwide on every continent. We have designed 5 posters which will be printed in 6 different languages. These will be printed in A2 poster size and placed in high population areas.

AWW hope to attract other new and smaller action venue alternatives to join in this event. To date two alternative auction sites have shown interest and, ideally, they would like up to ten sites to take part.

As an incentive to attract more sellers, AWW is extending its free 90 day all inclusive trial period until the end of May 2008 giving sellers time to prepare for the event. Existing trial users will also have their trial extended, and all trial sellers will have this facility until the end of August 2008.

An update for the World fayre and other announcements.

The community and direct marketing campaign for the AWW World Fayre is now well under way. We have had printed 200000 very attractive posters which are being distrbuted worldwide, by teams of distributors and also by our registered users. These will appear on notice boards, in shop windows, in clubs and community halls and etc.

20000 will be posted on boards in Australia, and being seen on average by 500 people per poster, Absolute minimum, we hope to be advertised to over 10 million people in Australia. Our global target is for the posters to be seen and read by over 100 million people. Quite a large advertising campaign we think.

As incentives for users to register and sell on the site, we have put the entire site on free mode until September 30th. All sellers can have total free use of the entire site until that date.

We are offering all sellers $20 for every new seller they refer to the site. Once the refered seller lists 20 items for sale, the $20 will be credited to the refers selling account. We are also offering $10 for every buyer who is refered too. We will verify every new user and check for duplicate IP and Proxy IP addresses.

The upgrades are almost complete, giving the site 10 niche areas in total. Please note, in auction areas, there is NO buy now. In all stores areas, there are no Auctions, and we have made stores so the seller creates there own categories to suit there products.

Auctions worldwide is not only a global site. Sellers have the option to sell worldwide, or locally.

We do have a few Sellers from Australia and would invite many more to join us and give the site a good and fair trail.

To answer a few possible question in advance. The site offers Open and general public auctions like all other auction sites. We also offer Auction Rooms from which sellers can run there own Auction site, or open public auctions or private auctions too if so desired. There are Reverse auctions for buyers wanting specific items.

The niche areas cover. The motor Mart for all forms of transport, spare parts and accessories. Cottage industries which cover All Handcrafted items only. No massed produced products allowed in this section. High Street Stores for quality and branded items. The Market Hall for lower priced products. The Antiques and collectors Fayre for genuine antiques and collectors items. The library for ALL books (This will have the global ISBN available).

For security, the entire site is ALL page SSL and 128 bit encrypted. We offer a full translation program and multiple payment gateways for all sellers. We dont as yet have a bulk lister, but we will have shortly.

We are currently inviting sellers and buyers to form a user group, who can and will liase with site admin on any issues arising. We beleive this makes us the first online auctions site that offers users the opportunity to directly participate in the sites running, format and growth.

We do have a very good forum, which is for registered users only, and we also have live online support too. And there is much more.

All we ask is sellers and buyers give us a fair trial and lets see what we can do to promote you and your businessess.

An update which i hope is of note.

The final developements have been completed.

They are as follows.

Google base added and upgrades listing every monday at 0300 gmt
google checkout added site wide.
Bulk lister now running. This is in excel format
Galleries added to all areas
ISBN added to the library
The new 14 language translation added sitewide
Multi currency now live and running

And finally The automated multiple purchase discount script is added and works very well.

We are now tidying up any little lose end that may have arisen from these developments.

We are growing, surely but slowly and sales are being made which augers well.
